Soondubu Jjigae

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsdashi
  • 1 tbspgochugaru
  • 1 tspsesame oil
  • 1 tspvegetable oil
  • 2-3 ozpork belly, small pieces
  • ¼ cupchopped onion
  • 1 clovegarlic
  • 1green onion
  • 4 ozkimchi, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • 1egg
  • 11 ozsilk tofu
  • red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

    Add oil, onion, and garlic to stone pot over medium-high heat.

    Cook pork until no longer pink, about 3 minutes.

    Add kimchi and stir for a minute.

  4. 4

    Add 2 cups of dashi, cover and cook for 7 minutes.

    Add salt, sugar, and tofu.

    Add gochugaru and sesame oil.

  7. 7

    Add egg, cook for 1 minute then remove from heat.
